To have thinner thighs was something I wanted from about the age of 17, I had never had a problem looking at myself before, up until the age of 17 I always thought my thighs were larger than most other girls, or maybe slightly out of proportion but wearing darker clothes or baggy trousers kind got around the problem.

When I reached 17 it became more apparent through some of the comments that would be made by boys like “thunder thighs” and other nasty things. When people talk like this it makes you very paranoid and at this point I became more and more conscious and constantly thought about how to make my thighs thinner.

In my quest to get thinner thighs I searched the internet for weight loss techniques and tried a whole range of herbal drugs of which a couple did help me to lose a small amount of weight but this does not make your thighs thinner – even if you lose weight it does not tackle the problem of out of proportion thighs, if anything it highlighted them more!

I carried on searching for answers and even tried exercises for thinner thighs but after around 4 months had spent a lot of money on useless products and systems that just made my purse lighter and did not show me a real way of how to get thinner thighs.

Finally I found a successful way to make thighs thinner, it was surprisingly easy, easy to do, and easy to follow regularly. I am by no means a size 0 but I can say, with confidence, that I am much more secure in myself and don’t have the problems with my body I once had.

Thighs Thinner and Faster

To get thinner thighs faster than normal you would have to carry out some of the more advanced methods. The problem with the more advanced thigh exercises is sometimes they are more geared to how to get thinner thighs faster and this is not always the best way to go about things.

The more advanced the method the harder it will be to carry out and the harder it will be to keep up with. Always remember that for results you need to keep doing the same thing time after time so the methods you adopt have to be reasonable.

There are also cases when people are told exercises to do in order to get their thinner thighs that actually don’t do anything. I have written below 2 methods, one of which does not help you and the other a very good source of thigh exercise.

1) Abductor Machines

These machines are the ones that you squeeze with your inner thighs and then push back away. You feel like it is doing something because more often than not it hurts but it actually does not do anything to the shape of your thighs.

People in sports stores will often push you towards these machines, I’m not sure if it’s to do with commission or just because they are not informed of the products but always make sure you check what muscle groups you WILL be working on and be happy that this is the part of the body you want to tone or improve.

2) Squats

Squats are a very effective way to get thighs thinner, that’s why they are harder to do but before long you start to see results and a thinner thigh in a short space of time.

There are many different ways to do squats. Stand with your feet level with your shoulders and use dumbbells if you can, go down as if you are sitting on a seat. Make sure that your toes are pointed to the front and not on an angle as it can start to get your hips tight.

When going down do it as far as you feel comfortable and make sure your head is up and body upright. When you come back up try to squeeze your thighs.

These types of exercise can also burn more calories than the abductor machines because of the way in which your body is setup, if you want thinner thighs you must burn more calories.

Keep it up

If you can keep up the thigh exercises will not only teach you to make thighs thinner but you will also stop wasting your time on exercises that just don’t work.

Try different things but always remember to stick with what works for you.
