<p>To have <strong>thinner thighs</strong> was something I wanted from about the age of 17, I had never had a problem looking at myself before, up until the age of 17 I always thought my thighs were larger than most other girls, or maybe slightly out of proportion but wearing darker clothes or baggy trousers kind got around the problem.</p>
<p>When I reached 17 it became more apparent through some of the comments that would be made by boys like &#8220;thunder thighs&#8221; and other nasty things. When people talk like this it makes you very paranoid and at this point I became more and more conscious and constantly thought about how to make my thighs thinner.</p>
<p>In my quest to get thinner thighs I searched the internet for weight loss techniques and tried a whole range of herbal drugs of which a couple did help me to lose a small amount of weight but this does not make your thighs thinner &#8211; even if you lose weight it does not tackle the problem of out of proportion thighs, if anything it highlighted them more!</p>
<p>I carried on searching for answers and even tried exercises for thinner thighs but after around 4 months had spent a lot of money on useless products and systems that just made my purse lighter and did not show me a real way of how to get thinner thighs.</p>
<p>Finally I found a successful way to make thighs thinner, it was surprisingly easy, easy to do, and easy to follow regularly. I am by no means a size 0 but I can say, with confidence, that I am much more secure in myself and don’t have the problems with my body I once had.</p>

<p>As with most things in life there always seems to be someone with a winning formula. Whether it is money making, sports, personal success or even thinner thighs but the even more amazing thing is what is common in all these success stories.</p>
<p>The first point of this formula for us, the people wanting our thighs thinner is &#8211; In order to achieve thinner thighs there is no doubt, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, you have to do exercise. Okay, it has to be the right exercises for thinner thighs and not all types will be suited to you but there is no escaping this first point. Make a mental note – Must do exercise.</p>
<p>The exact exercise for you will depend on several things, things I cannot tell you because I do not know you or your proportions although I can point you in the right direction. Whatever exercise you choose be sure of it, make it easy for yourself and do not pick hard exercises that hurt as this is where point number two comes in.</p>
<p>Point number two is – Stick At IT! Now this may seem a little lame or even fairly obvious but let me go into this in a little more detail. When people are passionate about something their emotions take over and when that happens the brain does not function rationally.</p>
<p>Did you know that 80% of people wanting to lose weight fail, and then go back to their old ways. This is because they do not stick to one method – they often buy drugs, books, gym membership and anything else that comes along not sticking to any one method. With the exception of the drugs which did not work for me, most of these ways could work given the right amount of time.</p>
<p>In order to see results from any method it has to be given a chance to work. This brings me to my third and final point about finding what works best for you.</p>
<p>Point three, is the most difficult. You have to find what works for your body, and this is the part I struggled with for a while. In the end I decided to buy a book </a>and read it properly, I decided that the book would be the option for me to stick to and it was the best investment I made. Looking back I can see that if I’d taken out this book before knowing point two it probably would have ended up in the bin but knowing I had to pick something and stick to it this really has to be the key to my personal success.</p>
<p>There was one part in the introduction to this book I want to share with you, this is what really made me decide to read on.</p>
<p><em>The “right combination” of exercise variables will give you much better results in a shorter amount of time… Combine these variables improperly and you’ll just keep spinning your wheels, with no results to show for your efforts – just a lot of frustration, anger and wasted energy…</em></p>
<p>It just goes to show that although you can pick up exercise information anywhere it really does pay to get professional advice on how to do these thinner thigh exercises properly.</p>

<p>Some of the best results can be got from the most simple of methods. Below you will see a couple of things you can do without the need to free up a lot of time.</p>
<p><strong>Running</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s easier to watch people running and wish to be like them. Finding the time to fit it in is the most difficult, a three or four mile run can seem impossible with children, a partner, work and a house to run but all those people you see on their run had to start somewhere and look at their thighs &#8211; not much fat on them?</p>
<p>The key is to start off slowly and build up. Get a decent pair of running shoes and start by doing for just a few minutes, walk for a little way and then run again for a few a bit longer. The problem with the more advanced thigh exercises is sometimes they are more geared to how to get thinner thighs faster and this is not always the best way to go about things.</p>
<p>The more advanced the method the harder it will be to carry out and the harder it will be to keep up with. Always remember that for results you need to keep doing the same thing time after time so the methods you adopt have to be reasonable.</p>
<p>There are also cases when people are told exercises to do in order to get their thinner thighs that actually don’t do anything. I have written below 2 methods, one of which does not help you and the other a very good source of thigh exercise.</p>
<p><strong>1) Abductor Machines</strong></p>
<p>These machines are the ones that you squeeze with your inner thighs and then push back away. You feel like it is doing something because more often than not it hurts but it actually does not do anything to the shape of your thighs.</p>
<p>People in sports stores will often push you towards these machines, I’m not sure if it’s to do with commission or just because they are not informed of the products but always make sure you check what muscle groups you WILL be working on and be happy that this is the part of the body you want to tone or improve.</p>
<p><strong>2) Squats</strong></p>
<p>Squats are a very effective way to get thighs thinner, that&#8217;s why they are harder to do but before long you start to see results and a thinner thigh in a short space of time.</p>
<p>There are many different ways to do squats. Stand with your feet level with your shoulders and use dumbbells if you can, go down as if you are sitting on a seat. Make sure that your toes are pointed to the front and not on an angle as it can start to get your hips tight.</p>
<p>When going down do it as far as you feel comfortable and make sure your head is up and body upright. When you come back up try to squeeze your thighs.</p>
<p>These types of exercise can also burn more calories than the abductor machines because of the way in which your body is setup, if you want thinner thighs you must burn more calories.</p>
<p><strong>Keep it up</strong></p>
<p>If you can keep up the thigh exercises will not only teach you to make thighs thinner but you will also stop wasting your time on exercises that just don’t work.</p>
<p>Try different things but always remember to stick with what works for you.</p>
